SM-Preparing Media for Print

Janel Kesten, from New England Repographics and one of the Founders of The Toolbox Inc, is presenting “Preparing Media for Print” at Tech Day Camp 2012.

Many small companies because of today’s economy and the increased accessibility of design tools are opting to design media for print and advertizing themselves. In this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of:

  • What is RGB-CMYK-PMS?
  • What rich blacks do
  • The difference between raster and vector images
  • How to maintain logo integrity
  • Basic dos and don’ts for layout

Simply knowing some of the basics behind these design fundamental will help you maintain the quality of your look.
